CHILDREN OF THE OCEAN

Nā Kama Kai is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth by creating, conducting and supporting ocean-based programs, specifically targeting ocean safety and conservation awareness in order to increase the capacity of youth in the community through Hawaiian values, culture and environmental education. The film follows the journey of the children who participate in the Nā Kama Kai program and explores how they are being raised as the future ocean leaders of Hawaii.

Nā Kama Kai translates to “ Children of the Ocean “ in Native Hawaiian language.
